The Seventh Barn

The story said that the barns were torn down. The land was sold off, all except for seven. When the deeds were done, the farmer carved the names of the chi n upon the walls of every building. Then he quietly walked to the seventh barn, suspended a rope from the rafters and hung himself. Legends spoke of a shadow seen through the window, the shadow of a body gently drifting from its rope. It was in 19 97 school teacher discovered the location of these lands. And more surprisingly, he found that the six barns had not, in fact, been torn down. But they still saw the names scratched into the rotting wood.
