The Importance of Banking in a Recession

The banking system is extremely interesting because it's like, I believe there's 12 regional federal reserve banks. And then those banks overnight, they lend money to all of the banks in that area. So every time the interest rates get raised, that's how you are impacted in your day to day life. The silver lining here real quick is that there's finally money in the bank for actual depositors.
