In your book, you say that regret is the polar opposite of fulfilment. For me, our regrets are we're imagining what would have happened had we done something else. That's the combination of agency and imagination. And i think a big misconception with regret is you have to keep carrying it around. You choose to carry this stuff around. We change as we go through life. Key point of the whole book is yet in permanence, in the buddhist concept of it's always a new men.
