Is There a Space Elevator?
The clock was always interested in sort of inertial drives. In the short term, it's just still going to have to continue being propellants. I feel like we're closer to the technology for a space elevator than a lot of people think. If we get to a point where we can mass produce a material with a high enough tensile strength then we could construct a space elevator.
