What Made the Blacks Heroes?
In a way, slavery wasn't wrong. I mean, it was legal. And yet do you explain the quakers who stood up against slavery? Or maybe rationalists like jeremy bentham and john stuart mill)? What made them heroes? Why? What are the factors that helped them buck the system? That is when all around you, for years and years, slaves were property. Slaves didn’t have a name. They were simply an age, a, a gender and not even a name so that they were nothing. The history of slavery in america a is, is one of the worst things about America.
