The Giraffe and the Endangered Species
When the giraffe first came to Paris in 1810 people went giraffe mad. Women were fashioning their hair into these upright hairdos and wearing giraffe dresses. The US refuses to recognise giraffes as endangered so there's still a very large market for giraffe skinned. We have been unhinged in our delight by the living world and I want to salute that.
