The Journey to Emmaus
Emmaus represents a symbol of our spiritual journey or pilgrimage. The two disciples on the road to Emmaus were initially discouraged and pretty much disillusioned after hearing about Jesus' crucifixion. But their encounter with him transformed their lives. This metaphorical journey from doubt to belief, from despair to hope is my journey.
