The Importance of Reading in Language Learning

For me personally, in the way that my brain works, I think reading actually helped me a lot. Hearing something without understanding how it's spelled and hearing sounds of a language without context for what those words look like makes it really hard for me to connect things in my brain. If you if you learn, you can learn faster if that's your objective by having both the target language audio and the target language words. The best way to do it is probably to pair both.
