You're nevergong to be able to break a habit. You can only change a habit. It's really not a good idea to try to change a habit with your will power alone, because eventually it's going to wear out. Especially when you're trying to resist products and service that have such incentives to keep you hooked on them. So i'd say that's the first thing to do. And then you can start making some practical changes to your phone and to your environment that support those boundaries that you are trying to establish.
