You write that our to-do lists hedge against mortality. Why are we so aspirational? It's because we're never going to get everything done, you say. So where is meaning found? I look at Jesus and the vocational obedient response of Jesus: Here I am. You know, I talk a lot about irritability in the book because I think productivity, again, just that urgency of like, I've got to get things done.
