Part of our interreceptive insight is through a process of mimicking other people's facial expressions. We don't have like a direct ability to, you know, through e s p or something now, what other people are feeling. But by physically mimicking others' facial expressions, which we do almost involuntarily, that generates the experience of ampathy effectively.
