The Future of the Senate Filibuster

I think that one reason we didn't get the ERA was the judges were doing a lot of the ERA without needing the ERA. I would be very surprised if in 10 or 15 years we still have the Senate filibuster because it just seems like the sort of thing you only need to have that vote once. Once you've gotten rid of it, it's never coming back. So a very, very slim door towards some political reform.
