There is always going to come a point when the risks involved in curtailing our lives become greater than the risks associated with catching 19. But this doesn't mean that deciding that life should return to what was pre pandemic normal is a risk free option. The primary risk, i think, that we face is the potential emergence of new variants that are either much more deadly, or that fully evade our current m r na vac cines. And i put the probability of that at between one and ten%. I think it's unlikely, but it's definitely possible.
