I really like the process of trying to draw something that you feel like you understand, like try to do a visualization of it. This is very difficult to put in words. So one thing was all the different ways I considered to represent it, that then did not really seem useful. For example, using the dimension of artificial versus biological systems seems not very useful. Also, it's just a really powerful way of kind of organizing your thinking on the topic.

This means she often plays the role of being an interface between the two worlds of ideas and their application by humans.
