The Importance of Habitus
Marianne's grandmother was chief butler in Henham Hall, so she knew all about place settings. Marianne would immediately say that we have to talk about cultural difference too as an archaeologist. I'm used to thinking about differences of cultures in time and space. A lot of the associations that you may have of what middle class or working class kitchen might be will not necessarily translate to a Scandinavian perspective.
