C.DOT's Non-Standalone 5G Core
The 5G core that has been homegrown is non-standalone 5G. This approach definitely gives us a step up for adoption of 5G and it definitely helps us eliminate at least one step for reliability on some foreign vendors. But what we have to also see is that this homegrown 5G code must be compatible with those vendors, with whom the CSPs are working with. For example, you mentioned various network infrastructure providers based out of the US, Europe, or the APAC regions as well. So far, as per my understanding, it is talking about the standalone 5G.
