The Epistemic Privilege of Knowing That Marginalized People Have

I wonder if we could think a little bit more about the nature of expertise here. There's something about the lived experience of the marginalized that gives them a kind of expertise that the privilege do not have. And so it's one thing to experience sexism in the workplace, but it's another thing entirely to know that you're experiencing sexism and then to understand how that's an outgrowth of a patriarchal system.
