Is Pessimism a Realist?
If you are a Christian, pessimism doesn't make you a realist. It is not an honest conclusion after looking at reality if by reality you include the promises of God. Pessimism makes you a questioner of God's character because he's promised things are going to work out in the end. We can be reasonably optimistic about the ultimate future, which we'll talk about next.
