"Glitch" is a word that implies something ephemeral, it's easily fixed in the code. I'm arguing that actually we are at a point when we should be more sophisticated in our understanding of technology and our understanding of how social problems manifest inside technology. We need to understand that our black boxes of automated systems are not actually impenetrable. But they can be understood, but it takes a fair bit of computational literacy to do that.
