The Last Stage of My Life
I want to know my death and to die joyfully in peace. I'm more free than I've ever been. Death is a terrible inconvenience, but it is not an obstacle for communication or for love. After this, there is nothing. But right now, I live with enthusiasm and energy. I share my stories. I give what I have. My mother used to say, we have come to this world to lose everything. And that is true. When she died a few years ago, she was ready. She was detached and free. I held her in my arms just like I held Paola. Physically, my mother is gone - but their spirits live on in me.
