Russ has raw pointers we can access raw memory we can design structures that look like objects like peripherals in our memory mapped i.o so yeah now i don't think there are many cases where i'd start a project and go i'm gonna use c but even then i sometimes try out the advent of code. There's loads of great resources on rustlang.org you'll see the book we wrote the discovery book is your introduction to embedded systems using rust. Check out the awesome embedded rust page there's just hundreds of links on there fascinating projects sure you can find something that will grab your interest and there's another rabbit hole you can dive down as well.
