VCs and the Public Cloud
A year and a half ago or so, A16Z came out with an article that got a lot of noise. It was basically like, you know, the cloud's making a ton of money. And because they're making so much money, it is becoming an overwhelmingly large cost for companies that are built and born in the cloud. But once they reach a big size, those companies should start thinking about repatriating those applications back into some sort of private cloud thing.
