The Role of the Pastor in Dealing With Political Issues
John Knox wanted everybody to read the Bible, male or female in Scotland. His main motive was to create a country of beoreans who as they listened to the word of God preached, would hear the introduction of error. Today I feel like there's a strong movement to say the church should really not be involved in the politics of the day to day. Well, Knox would not have agreed with that. This the solo scriptura teaches us that we have salvation by grace alone through faith alone and Christ alone to the glory of God alone. And that's what that's the principal thing that a preacher and pastor and under shepherd should be about.
