The Role of Satan in the Old Testament

In the Old Testament, there is no devil slot. There's no job description for that. So then we have to redefine Hasatan differently. Where does he fit in? And again, we don't find anything that suggests he's anything but a functionary within Yahweh system. He raises an issue about Job, which is a legitimate issue to ask. Is Job serving God for nothing? That's a very legitimate question. In Daniel 10, it's not really saying what lots of people say with it. But we can't go into that in detail. Let's by all means be Satan's advocates. We've got just a little bit of time left.
