Is There a 50-50 Split Between Managers and ICs?

For me so far, I've only had one report on both of the teams that I've been on. If you can flip it where you said right now, it's sort of like 70, 30 towards IC work. So I would probably expect yours to stay around like a 50, 50 split until your team grows. And as someone with the official manager title, but actually mostly doing IC work, I've been in this little internal identity crisis - trying to figure out how that will work.
