The Importance of Fairness in Animal Behavior

A sense of fairness does not indicate jealousy. And what's more, the animals may have envied the other animals' treat. The monkeys would actually just stop performing because they didn't get a treat as good as the other monkey. I don't think that the proceedings of the National Academy of Science got it wrong. But sometimes NPR gets things wrong. Well, sometimes. Might use a pain for me to say it.
