Voting seems like a collective action problem, right? Where if you could get everyone together to all decide to either do a lot of research or not do very much research at all. So this is an very interesting argument one can have, should you vote, should you not? And you can also argue, which is a very an excellent topic for effective altruists, i think, to think of alternative voting systems and other ways of influencing society where people have more of an interest ta actually wield power over society y. But that is quite separate from the question of the information flow, and whether it's a good thing or a bad thing to make it easier for people who want to have it
