Joanne Chambers and Paula Norocky

Joanne chambers and paula norocky were both first grade teachers in the Monroe County school district. Joanne had been subjected to a series of threatening letters, including one that made reference to german commander colonel clink from hogan's heroes. Paula was accused of stealing joanne's coffee cup but maintained her innocence. Both women took polygraph tests which found no evidence linking them to the crimes. Despite being allowed to continue teaching she was snubbed by fellow teachers who were convinced of her guilt. She was transferred to another school for her own safety.
