How to Identify Tall T-Waves on an ECG

Jesse McLaren will help us figure out what to do when we see tall T-waves on an ECG, and specifically when to suspect occlusion MI even in the absence of traditional semi-criteria. Hyper-cute T-waves are the first sign of acute coronary occlusion; they can also identify minor ST elevation and reciprocal ST depression. So if you see T-waves that appear tall, in a patient with ischemic symptoms, look at their preceding QRS to see if they are tall in comparison.
