The History of the Nasdak Stock Exchange
In the early 19 seventies, a computering technology, computers, had become much more advanced than they had over the preceding decades before that. The national associates of security dealers decided tat they were going to create a brand new stock exchange that existed completely on computers. So in 19 71, that's when the nasdak was official launched. And it was a computerized system for buying and selling stocks. Currently, there's more than three thousand, 200 companies that are listed on the nazdak.
