What Happened to Anuta and Sophia?

In 1871 Sophia interrupted her studies to visit her sister Anuta in Paris. France was then at the tail end of a war with Prussia which had ended in humiliating defeat for the French. In March 1871 a commune was declared in Paris and Anuta's partner Victor Jacques-Claire was among its revolutionary leaders. Alarmed, Sophia and her husband Vladimir traveled to Paris and found themselves in the middle of the fighting. After six weeks the Kavadeskis went back to Berlin but after the defeat of the commune Anuta's husband, well, lover, common law husband, whatever you want to call him, he was arrested.
