"It's probably pretty clear that I am a Hanami fan and have been for quite a while. It started for me in 2001, when I was the lowest ranking newest employee in a company," he says. "I'm not a morning person at all, but after that first year, I volunteered to do it the next year and the year after that." When he left the company, he started throwing Hanami parties of his own.
