The Colossus was from 1943 British engineer designed it to try to break the cipher being used by Hitler's high command. When you're talking about computers like we say here you're looking at not only storage capabilities but programmability and when we talk about storage talk about memory. The bomb was designed for one purpose and one purpose only. Plus it just cranked away and cranked away but it didn't actually move forward based on programming. Right.
