The Importance of Education in the American Economy

When you force your preschooler to go through the process of getting into an elite preschool, some of which cost more than $30,000 a year and have intense entrance requirements with various assessments that they've dreamed of. You are creating this understanding in that very young person's brain that your love is dependent upon their performance in school. And then I think we can tell parents and we can, and we can ask them like, you know, model concern with values other than education. But ultimately, if this cultural situation is the product of the economic situation, only economic changes can fix it.
