Merck has been using mRNA vaccines since 2018. Other companies around the world have also generated mRNA vaccines against things like rabies, other types of foot and mouth disease. There's so many that are in development right now that will play a profound role in agriculture. Right now it's just pigs but they're also in development for cows, fish and chickens.
