What Is Lycanthropy?
The myths and legends surrounding werewolves like the Wolfman of the movies go very far back in history. It's unknown where the concept specifically originated, but regardless, we know that they exist to this day. Lycanthropy can be found in the Epic of Gilgamesh written somewhere between 2100 and 1200 BCE when a woman pursues Gilgamesh after her lover turned into a wolf.
