Are You Really Interested in Contemporary Stories?
I think, rather than use the term complicate our understanding, id say, deepen our understanding. As a reader, i shared at fascination for imaginalized characters which defy a simple narrative. There are stories of the marginalie to be told here as well, layers to uncover and oll of that. I would rather dig out things from a different time and try and make sense of the present by explaining why those times have have resulted in this system that we have now. But practically speaking, this is what appeals to me, and i won't do, i keep working on on that.
