The Greens' Plan to Introduce a Livable Income Guarantee
This week the greens launched their plan to introduce a livable income guarantee. It includes welfare reform stuff, really, even reforms to our social security system. The headline part of the policy is raising the come support rates above the melbourne institute poverty line so that itd be 88 dollars a day at the moment. And there's also five thousand additional sentalink staff. Lower eligibility age for job seeker and bringing that down to 18 years old.
