The Importance of Table Manners in Middle Age
In middle age and the many disappointing failures there. Primant aspect had managed to push away with his brittle sanctimony anybody who'd ever entertain any idea of getting close to him. Mother and father loomed large in my, Gerard's, mind when I ride my young lady. Sometimes she would be dressed to suggestively or prove to harsh in her speech. One might find oneself wincing at her table manners. As the otherwise appealing Beth Lance had done, that fateful Thanksgiving raised the question of what it might be like to spend one life with someone so heedless and disordered.
