Is It Possible for Us to Know Ourself?
Is it possible for us to know ourselves? I think of the self as tripartite, really. There's a huge aspect of this thing we call self that we just don't have a clue. And then there's another part of self in this tripartite structure that we can know very well, but generally don't. We're always telling stories about other selves and they make us happy or unhappy. It behooves us to examine our stories and to know them better.
