The Other Side of Engagement Groups

The other upside to engagement groups is that it forces you to more actively engage with other people's content. When you do that, it's almost like micro posts. And so when you're an engagement group and you've got three or four people sharing statuses every single day, that's an opportunity for you to create micro content on three or four different people's posts. It gives you that much more exposure while helping the people in your engagement group get more reach with their content as well.
