The conviction rate for sexual harassment in India is only 12%. The study found a 1.36 percentage point increase, which is non-trivial given that the conviction rates are only 12%. But how much of a dent will something like this make in the larger picture of reducing sexual harassment because now these cases are actually going to court and they're getting resolved?
