The Importance of Repentance

This is a baptism of repentance, because all these people are coming down and they are at that moment, repentant. But what happens to you and I? What happens to sinners that are even repentant at one moment,. the very next day, the very next week, they continue to struggle with sin. So your repentance and my repentance is not ultimately found in our vows to do better or our confession of sin. Our repentance is ultimately found in Jesus repenting on our behalf.
