I happen to be a parent of a child whose octave in which she speaks is typically very loud. Sometimes we try to strip the person of a behavior. It's interesting that we don't allow kids to have the preferences that we want for ourselves. Adults have lots of preferences. But with kids, it's like, no preference. You have to do everything I do.
