The Fed and the US Economy Faced a Pandemic

The Federal Reserve started to take some extreme actions after the pandemic reached the United States. The Fed either initiated or was goaded by the treasury into different lending and liquidity facilities that it had never done before. This time, unlike in the Bernanke episode, all that let's call it money creation for lack of a better term led to a surge of inflation.
