I don't think the war will be waged at the same intensity as we saw last year, simply because attrition has been amazingly high. It is impossible for me to imagine how a peace deal could be arrived at, given the current positions of President Zelensky and Putin. My money is on a stalemate that drags on through the year, moves the story from the front page to the inside pages. At the end, I don't think Russia collapses. We had a pretty good try back in the early 90s, and it's still there.
