The Importance of Time Management in a Book
I think the way I come up with ideas for, well, books, but also just any sort of longer thing that I'm doing is it's really always retrospective. The idea is already there, you just need to find it. And so the really huge benefit of getting to work on a short column every week for years is that it sort of obliges you to engage with all those little ideas and not wait perfectionistically till you've got a really good one. But then again, it's like, it is time, but then I don't think anything, if you understand it broadly enough, is a topic that excludes any aspect of human life at all.
