Is There a Paradox There?

Sally Kohn: It's the cognitive dissonance though. Sometimes I think between the earnest and the ironical where you have a stadium full of people who are quite possibly singing along with Lee Greenwood, you know, before a football game. She says we love America for the freedoms that it protects and the opportunities that it gives us. And sometimes people use those freedoms and opportunities in ways that we disdain and they even use them to attack the freedoms themselves.Kohn: We just have an unprecedented level of freedom and also of prosperity in which to enjoy it.
