Duolingo is a language learning app that lets users translate the web. The company pivoted from its original business model of selling translation to CNN and other clients. It's now one of the largest companies in the world, which means it could go public at some point. "We don't charge for our planet. We don't have any ads," says CEO Tim Cook.
