Is There a Veto Power in Free Will?

In theory, libbet could predict what we were going to choose before we were consciously aware of it. So that sounds really scaring. I mean, that sounds like it really does undermine free will. But i actually do not think that any of these kinds of conclusions can be drawn from the libit data. One of the problems is that all the analysis of this data is statistical. The signals you get are very noisy. And in order to get any kind of interpretable signal, you have to average over many trials. Because of this, you cannot tell on individual trials whether someone is about to move their finger or not.
